Enjoy exciting fishing expeditions, giving the kids lessons off the dock, ice fishing in the winter months, or for the competitive spirits, join our frequent fishing competitions. We have some of the best waterfowl hunting around as well as spectacular monitoring of bald eagles, blue herons, whooping cranes, and river otter.

Better make sure your fishing line's test weight is sufficient! We have excellent bass, northern, crappie, and bluegill fishing here. You can also catch catfish and walleye below the dam!
Ice fishing has become a popular sport at Lake Ericson. Avid fishermen from all over flock to the lake to try their hand at it during the frigid winter months.
Or pull the trigger on some good hunting.
There is excellent pheasant and duck hunting around the lake, but be sure you have the land or property owner's permission before you hunt. Also, remember there is no hunting within 600 feet of any habitable structure unless you have the express permission of the land/property owner.
