Old Business
Mail Theft – Deputy is putting together evidence to build a felony case against the mail theft individual.  If anybody around the area has had mail or checks stolen please notify the Wheeler County Sheriff’s office.
Watch your utility bills and other accounts, one individual at the lake had payments for electric company stolen of mailbox and forged, unaware until they received notice power was to be shut off.

During rash of mail theft a bill from our attorney’s office was never received and now has interest on it.  Norm sent an email to the attorney’s office to see about getting that waived.

We had also had at least one check mailed in for dues that was stolen.  Attached to the minutes is an up to date list of members who we have received dues.  If you sent in your dues and your name is not on this list please let us know.

Joe talked to the NRD about submitting the bills for the dam repairs even though we still have a balance due.  The funds received back form NRD would pay that amount off.  Per NRD they require that the bills be paid in full before submitting to them.

Auction – There will not be a Labor Day auction.  The items in the building will be disposed of unless there is something in there somebody wants. Please do not drop off any auction items at the ELC buildings.

Pump Jack at Dam Campsite – Joe called and reminded the well guy that the pump jack at the dam campsite is broke.  He will come by to fix it when it gets warmer.

Rock For the Road – We have 1 load of white rock here.  Volunteers will be putting in pot holes on the roads around the lake.

Water Levels below dam – Joe & Paul still need to measure the water levels in the tubes below the dam to monitor seepage.

Computer Software – We are still planning on having Ed install the new updated computer software for running the dam gates when he has time.  Will also be installing a camera on the dam as well.

Insurance Review – Joe is still working with getting the insurance agent up to one of the upcoming meetings to review our policies.  Per their protocols her company is still now allowing in person meetings with groups.

Camping reservations are up this year compared to past years.

New Business
Mud Rock – looking at getting some mud rock for the end of Stitzer way where the drain tile is buried.  Getting to be a water hole down there and vehicles driving through and tearing it up. Joe is going to call Ulrich.

Cleanup will be April 17th after the meeting. Will be coming up with a list of jobs that need done.

Campsite Restrooms Pump – It has been 2 years since the restrooms have been pumped and we had a lot of campers last year.  Joe is going to call Petska and line up getting the porta potties pumped out.

Flag Order – We have some flags that were stolen during Labor Day last year and some that are getting worn.  Motion by Paul and 2nd by Jerry to order 6 new American Flags.

Sign at River Campsite broke – The sign at the river campsite blew over and broke during the last windstorm.  Will add this to our list of things to fix during clean up.

4th of July – We will have our annual meeting on Saturday, July 2nd along with Paddle Poker Run, Golf Cart Parade and Fireworks that night.
Lake has sent in a check our portion of the fireworks. The bank pays or 2/3 and lake pays for 1/3.  If anybody would like to donate towards the fireworks, it is greatly appreciated and allows for a bigger and better display.

Gary Osentowski will be mowing the back of the lake.

We will not be taking the boards out at the dam this weekend the river is moving too fast.  Will remove them once the river slows down.

No need for executive session.

Motion by Jerry to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 AM, Seconded by Ashley.

Next meeting will be Saturday, April 17th – followed by Spring Cleanup.

Respectfully submitted by
Ashley Kaiser, Secretary
