Secretary’s Report: Minutes from the last meeting are posted online and had been emailed to everyone, Motion Tom to approve minutes as posted, Second by Paul. Motion Carried.

69 members have paid their dues.
We received a bill from Ulrich for rock and crushed concrete for $3,947
We have an attorney bill for $256, that will be paid with the funds we have remaining in escrow with there office.
Paul will be getting gas for the mowers soon.
There will also be a bill coming for the spring servicing on the mowers.
Paul made a motion to pay bills and approve the treasurer’s report, second by Tom. Motion carried.
Events committee Update:
Tornado Shelters have been purchased and will be here the first week of May. We need to get the two areas cleared, leveled and put down the fill for them to sit on.
Memorial Weekend we will be having a Cornhole Tournament & Family Fun Day on May 28th. There will be Cornhole, Put Put Golf on the lake front $3 per round, Backyard Foosball for Fun followed by Outdoor Movie at Dark. Proceeds from this year will go towards purchase of additional ducks for Duck Races and General Fund. Contact Ashley Kaiser or Cyndi Schure to sign your team up. Farm & Ranch Raffle is going on, Winners will be drawn on Sunday July 3rd. Proceeds will be going towards the Playground Fund. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.aplos.com/aws/events/2022_farm_ranch_raffle.

4th of July Weekend Saturday will be a Pancake feed before the annual meeting again with Proceeds going towards the playground fund. Annual Bake & Craft Sale following the meeting with Proceeds going to the general fund and Annual Golf Cart Parade will be at 5:00 PM on Saturday. Sunday will be the 5th annual Paddle Poker Run, proceeds will be going towards finishing up the tornado shelters and building funds for our additional events. Our next goal is helping with funds for the playground equipment. Farm & Ranch Raffle Winners will be drawn after the paddle poker run. We are looking at having 1 possibly 2 food truck vendors on the lake front, and fireworks at dusk.
Labor Day Weekend we will have our 2nd Annual Husker Tailgate party under the carousel on Saturday and 2nd Annual Duck Races on Sunday. Proceeds from these events go towards the general fund.
December 2nd & 3rd will be our 2nd Annual Trail of Lights Ride Through Christmas Light Display on the back trail. Anybody wanting to help this year please let us know. Proceeds from last year’s event are being reinvested to grow the event this year.
Playground Equipment – Joe has received a few contracts from the City of Ord for places for playground equipment. We will be reaching out to them.
Goal Thermometer is up on the Old ELC Building by the can dumpster for the playground equipment. It has what has been raised so far along with a link and QR code visitors can go online to Aplos and make donations.
Campsite Reservations: We are still working on finding a vendor to handle the campsite reservations online.
Paul made a request that we leave one campsite open as we have had a few issues of a space being double booked and it makes for some very unhappy campers.
Dam Maintenance: Joe reported that the NRD had a subcommittee meeting. Since there are several new members, they are going to bring the entire subcommittee to come see the lake. We are still waiting for their decision on what percentage of the dam repair receipts they will reimburse, and we are looking to see about having them pay a portion of the new computer system cost.
Back 40: Nothing to update on the back 40. We were planning on trimming some trees over there today for cleanup, however it is too windy. We will look at this next meeting.
Spring Cleanup list: Today is spring cleanup day. Things needing to get done include: getting Christmas decorations moved from ELC Building to Terry Held Building, get ice eater out the water at the dam, cutting tree by entrance A & Frankie Ave that is blocking view, trimming trees on Pothast road that are hanging down and scratching the delivery trucks and people’s campers, bank repair by the Tom Haase Family dock at the dam, and getting sites ready for tornado shelters.
Thanks to Paul for buying fuel for the skid loader before prices went up.
Signage: Cyndi’s son is still waiting for his machine to show up. Having a guy in Columbus make the new big sign for the campsite for $150. Should be here next week. The small signs with updated phone numbers for campers to call to unlock power boxes will also be here next week.
We are still waiting on the metal to make the numbers for the dock spaces.
Plamadon Road gravel & rock was put down
Website: Joes secretary will be leaving in about a month. Cyndi and Ashley are going to work on handling the updates to the website to take some of that off of Joe’s secretary. Ed Knott’s company built & hosts the current website, however they are not able to continue to provide tec support for maintaining the website. Ed sent over information for a gentleman out of West Point that he suggests contacting along with a flyer with the packages and pricing. Ed would continue to host the site.
Amy also has a connection that is familiar with WordPress that she would like us to talk to as well. Ashley will reach out to Ed, the gentleman in West Point and Amy’s connection to get some more information to make a decision.
Newsletter: The events committee has signed up to use constant contact for some digital marketing to hit the campers, paddle poker participants & sponsors in additional to our property owners. A spring newsletter was sent out that focused on our upcoming events, camping information and links to our website, the direct link to donate for Fireworks & Playground Equipment. We had a lot of great feed back as well as a camping reservation from it and donations for fireworks. The cost is $35 / month. We also have announcements for the cornhole tournament and then all memorial weekend events scheduled to be going out soon.

Legal: Norm gave an update on the status of our options for ownership of all of the roads. A letter will be going out to all property owners in the next couple of weeks explaining the situation with the roads and how the Board plans to address the issue.
